Description of Significance THE SANTA FE DEPOT IN DRUMRIGHT PROVIDED RELIABLE AND EFFICIENT PASSENGER AND EQUIPMENT SERVICE TO THE CUSHING OIL FIELD BEGINNING IN 1916. EVEN AFTER THE OIL BOOM, THE DEPOT CONTINUED TO SERVE THE FREIGHT AND PASSENGER SERVICE NEEDS OF THE CITY OF DRUMRIGHT FOR MANY YEARS. PASSENGER SERVICE ENDED IN 1946 AND FREIGHT SERVICE ENDED IN 1964. LISTED IN NATIONAL REGISTER 4/2/1981.
